A miniRITE hearing aid sits discreetly behind the ear and is the smallest behind-the-ear hearing aid. It contains a tiny speaker attached to a thin, almost invisible wire that sits in the ear.
Oticon is the only manufacturer that uses a battery door design with their Lithium-Ion batteries. This means that Oticon hearing aids do not need to be sent in for battery replacement — the rechargeable batteries can be replaced in our clinic. Oticon Li-ion batteries supplied with Oticon hearing aids come with a 12-month warranty and are considered a consumable item. The rechargeable battery can only be replaced by a hearing care professional.
